MIDNIGHT IN MANHATTAN is a collection Architectural NightScapes captured in New York City between 1980 & 1985.
Many of the images contained in this portfolio feature the Twin Towers, which I was very drawn to at that time.
Also during this period, I did some experimenting with a motion filter (a device placed on the camera lens to simulate motion blur), which I applied to some of these subjects for special effects. It was my way of portraying "the pulse and movement of the city"
Recently, while reviewing my archives, I came upon this body of work. Being a native New Yorker and realizing the World Trade Center is part of our history,
I decided to publish this collection and dedicate it to the Memory of the 911 Victims and their Families.
Peace and Happiness,
